Regional Coordinator

 

Ahmad Kabir Amirzay serves at ACE as Regional Coordinator for Afghanistan’s northern provinces. In this role Ahmad acts as a focal point for ACE’s projects in the areas of skills development, capacity development, job placement, and other types of projects. Ahmad also represents ACE to any potential clients in the northern provinces who may be interested in ACE’s services.

 

Ahmad began his career teaching English at the Thunder Educational Center, at its offices in Parwan and Mazar-i-Sharif. His professional expertise expanded with an offer from the Bashir Nawid Group of Companies, as Human Resources Manager. After gaining experience in human capacity building and HR management for a large conglomerate, Ahmad took on a new challenge in the field of marketing. Ahmad was recruited to join Top Speed Group, as Marketing Manager. In this role Ahmad set Group sales goals, prepared the annual marketing budget, and reported results to Group shareholders.

 

After building a solid basis of experience in the private sector, Ahmad joined Afghanistan Holding Group as a Job Placement Officer, as part of the USAID-funded Afghanistan Workforce Development Project (AWDP). He continued working on the AWDP project with INTEGRATION Afghanistan, as a Job Placement Specialist. In 2017, Ahmad joined the ACE team.

 

Ahmad earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Balkh University in 2013, and has also received certificates from a number of programs in the fields of English language studies and IT.
