Ajmal Kamran serves at ACE as a Project Officer, focused on supporting Afghan returnees as part of the European Reintegration Network (ERIN) project. His duties involve translating and recording the returnees’ reintegration plans, uploading the returnee’s documents, data entry, managing the returnee database, and providing counseling to individual returnees. Through his work, Ajmal is able to help returnees achieve sustainable incomes.
Ajmal started his career at the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, as an inter. He later moved on to work as an instructor at the Danish English Language Center. Ajmal joined ACE in 2017, as a Project Assistant for the agency’s call center management project for Etisalat Afghanistan. Ajmal coordinated with candidates for the call center positions, along with performing additional vetting for those candidates who passed the application process. As he proved himself in his responsibilities, Ajmal was brought on board the ERIN project, as a full Project Officer.
Ajmal is currently working towards his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Bakhtar University. He received an associate degree in Management from Afghanistan’s National Institute of Management and Administration (NIMA), which operates under the supervision of Ball State University.
