Resident Expert on Trade

 

Akbar Danesh serves at ACE as a resident expert on trade, small and medium-sized enterprises, and legal affairs. Akbar is a member of the ACE team that currently supports the work of the Executive Committee on Private Sector Committee (PriSEC). Akbar has more than 10 years of professional work experience in both the private and public sectors in Afghanistan. He has worked with USAID, JICA, UNDP, RANA Technologies, and the Ministry of Women Affairs.

 

Akbar specializes in project management, policy formulation, business development, capacity development and gender issues.

 

Akbar earned his MBA from SWISS UMEF University of Afghanistan, in 2015. He also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Azad University, in Mashhad, Iran.
