Communication Specialist

 

Faheema Eissar Serves as Communication Specialist for the Technical support to PriSEC Project. She is earning her Master’s Degree in Data, Economics, and Development Policy (through Ongoing Online Learning) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Hanover College in Indiana (United States), where she majored in International Studies and Economic Development.

 

In addition to her academic qualifications, Ms. Eissar has more than 10 years of professional experience.

 

Prior to her role at ACE, she served as Senior Public Outreach Specialist in the Ministry of Finance, as Public Outreach Technical Advisor for the Independent Election Commission (IEC), and as Women’s Empowerment Specialist for Applied Ethics USA, Kabul. Her main responsibilities in the above roles included: designing a PR department strategic plan utilizing appropriate public outreach tools; preparing audio and video clips to highlight MoF achievements; designing flyers, posters, billboards and brochures; developing and establishing public outreach policies and plans; and writing policies for gender inclusion at the IEC.

 

She is also a member of the board of the Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
