Chief Operating Officer

 

Tahmina Haidare is one of the key senior managers at ACE, serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Her areas of responsibility at ACE include business development, project implementation, project management, and project oversight. Tahmina also organizes events, coordinates meetings with clients, and performs business advisory for ACE clients. Tahmina began her career with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), in 2003.

 

With just a high school education and solid foundation in English and computer skills, Tahmina was able to land a position as a Training Officer for election-related activities. After two years performing these duties, she was tapped by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to provide even more advanced training for field staff prior to the Afghan parliamentary elections in 2005. In 2008, Tahmina began her studies in the United Kingdom, at Kingston University in London. As she began finishing up her degree in International Relations & Law, Tahmina took her first communications position at the British design and printing company 3UPNET. Tahmina prepared the company’s communications strategy, drafted copy in English and Dari for the its Afghan/Iranian print magazine, and provided support in business development.

 

In 2013, Tahmina returned to her native Afghanistan and began work as Project Manager at the prominent media production agency FKH Media. She was assigned as the agency’s representative and point of contact for its largest projects, ensuring that clients were kept up-to-date on the progress of deliverables and collecting their feedback along the way. In 2014, Tahmina joined ACE as Coordinator and Project Manager for the consultancy. In 2017, she was appointed as Chief Operating Officer, and is now involved in every facet of ACE’s activities.
