ACBAR is an Afghan independent coordinating body bringing together 142 national NGO (NNGO) and international NGOs (INGO) working in Afghanistan and abiding by the humanitarian principles of independence, neutrality, impartiality and humanity.

ACBAR has designed and is implementing a program for one year, supported by Peace Wind Japan (PWJ) aiming to improve the capacity of NGOs in Afghanistan. This will involve training NGOs to meet international standards and be professional on humanitarian actions. In order to do this, ACBAR contracted ACE to conduct 4 days ToT to build and develop the capacity of ACBAR’s capacity development department staff to promote the monitoring and evaluation knowledge and skills. The training was successfully delivered and participants were equipped with the right knowledge.
