University Support and Workforce Development Project

ACE conducted trainings to support Afghanistan’s higher education professionals to effectively manage the growth of tertiary education while improving academic quality based on market demand.

ACE conducted management and institutional assessment of the Ministry of Higher Education and eleven public universities, trained more than 2000 students on soft skills, personal development, pre-employability, life skills, violence elimination and peace promotion; conducted TOTs for university faculty and training managers on office administration, leadership and report writing and followed them up with coaching for improvement; organized ten public private partnership events and established university-industry advisory councils across ten public universities. ACE placed more than 450 university graduates into Internships and permanent jobs.
