He earned his LLM, majoring in private law, from Avicenna University in 2017; prior to that, he earned his BA from Dawat University\u2019s Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining the ACE team, Aziz worked with the Independent Election Commission (IEC) as a commissioner of the media commission, and as a director at the Afghanistan Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution (ACDR).<\/p>\n<p>In this capacity, his responsibilities included addressing negligence and violations on the part of the mass media and taking legal measures against the dissemination of inaccurate or unfair articles related to elections.<\/p>\n<p>His duties also included serving as general management of ACDR, monitoring all ACDR activities, liaising between national and international boards of directors, and representing ACDR at national and international conferences and meetings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POSITION: &nbsp; Legal Expert &nbsp; Aziz Faizy Serves as a consultant for ACE\u2019s efforts providing Technical Support to PriSEC, a World Bank project.
