Mariam serves at ACE as a Project Manager, with a primary focus on the Support Afghanistan Livelihoods and Mobility project (funded by the United Nations Development Program). Mariam’s career spans Afghanistan and Pakistan, where she has gained experience in a number of different fields.
Mariam began her career teaching computer skills to young women at Capital Degree College, in Peshawar, Pakistan. Mariam went on to serve as a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Management studies in Peshawar. In 2016, Mariam took a position with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas, supporting youth capacity building efforts. In 2018, Mariam joined ACE in a management capacity.
Mariam earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Peshawar, with a specialization in Finance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Qurtuba University in Peshawar, and has also completed certificate programs in human resources management, business administration, IT, and English.
